Agile doesn't even begin to describe April. I have had the pleasure of working with April Singleton for the past two years in the Delaware Youth Leadership Network (DYLN) when the world was experiencing unprecedented societal and workplace changes. During this time, she helped to launch a brand new program (Project Mastery), adapt to a virtual learning space for students, and create an async offering (DYLN Toolkit).

April brings collaborative energy to every room and conversation. Above all, I was impressed with her ability to lead and guide students with empathy. Without a doubt, April's ingenuity and entrepreneurial mindset would be a true asset for any organization.

about the project.

Founded in 2012, Delaware Youth Leadership Network inspires, motivates and develops Delaware high school students to become our leaders of tomorrow.

DYLN launched as a platform for high school students to learn interpersonal and professional skills, meet inspirational leaders and mentors, and create a community of peers across a wide array of schools. Eight years later, DYLN’s signature school year program has expanded to include design thinking and project-driven collaborative learning. It continues to be a transformative experience for high schoolers that cultivates the skills students need to succeed in an unpredictable world.
