about the project.

As Peer Support Network (PSN) members, we are asked to support Volunteers' well-being and resilience with a holistic understanding of common issues that Volunteers may encounter. This whole-person approach to peer support includes recognition of individual diversity in how they engage in self-care to nourish their well-being. We keep in mind that our job is not to make everyone psychologically well. Nor is it to make sure people never experience stresses or hardship. Instead, we are empathetic, encouraging, and caring peers who understand the challenges people go through with service and are standing by as a valuable resource for folks in need of support.
